We know it’s been a while, but we’re back. Unfortunately, we finished the quarter finals last night in 3rd place, so we didn’t make it into the semifinals for the @openingactofficial contest to play the Hollywood Bowl. However, the good news is that we finished in THIRD PLACE in the quarter finals, meaning that YOU still chose us out of dozens of other bands! I am so unbelievably grateful to everyone who took the time out of your own very busy lives to try and support me in my endeavors because you care about us. I cannot truly explain how meaningful that is to me, and how it makes me feel that making my music really is worthwhile after all. There are several upcoming releases planned, as well as an amazing live, outdoor show that we are delighted to announce that we are headlining on October 9th on behalf of @chromatica_events 🙌 Perhaps someday soon we will be playing the Hollywood Bowl on our own steam, and we hope that you will continue to stick with us on our journey, and hope that you enjoy all the new music and media coming your way from #ILAW. WE NEED YOUR HELP RIGHT NOW!!! LESS THAN 2 HOURS LEFT! We are in 3rd place and need to be #1 before 8p Pacific tonight! I don’t know what the other artists are doing, but I believe that if you want us to play for you at the Hollywood Bowl enough, YOU can make at happen with your individual free votes! This opportunity should exist for worthy artists who simply don’t yet have the 17,500 fans it would take to sell out a venue as large as the Bowl. It shouldn’t exist for those who are able to PAY to win this contest. We are so close in 3rd place but yet so far, because if we are not #1 tonight, we are out of the competition. Regardless of what happens, I am so incredibly grateful to ALL OF YOU for getting us all the way to the quarter finals to begin with, and into 3rd place!!!! That’s truly amazing to me. If you are supporting me because you love the music, I am beyond ecstatic. If you are supporting me because you personally like me but you haven’t yet heard the music, you can listen to all the new stuff right at the voting link!!! I am so overwhelmed with emotions right now about how the very first EVER public, full-band performance of my original In Love & WAR music went last night, but most of all, I’m filled with endless gratitude for everyone who has believed in me and my music enough. Thank you so much to Patrick Bojanic from @sparamentertainment for inviting me to be part of this event with all the other incredibly talented artists on the bill (@omgtomboy , @cassiemarin , @emilycoupe , @kendall.rucks —please go check out all their music), thank you to all the amazing musicians who backed me up and made my music come to life (@glennholdaway_ 🎺, @liam_e_r 🎷, @jonasstreffer 🥁, @jordanxhemphill 🎹, @zachandrewsbass 🐠, @jakefaunmusic 🎸), thank you to all the friends and fans who took time out of their busy lives to come and see us perform on a weekday night, and to the friends and fans of the other artists who stayed to check out our music, and to Raz and @theviperroom for making us sound and look so good! Last night definitely would never have happened without a tremendous years-long chain of events and people that led up to this particular moment, and I’m so thankful for all of them.
