The British film “The Goodbye Girl,” which features the original song “Mad Girl’s Love Song” by Koi Anunta, has just won another award for “Best Editing” from the 2019 North Europe International Film Festival in London. This now joins numerous previously won awards, including “Best Feature Film” and “Best Director” from the 2018 Out of the Can Film Festival, out of over 2000 entries from 35 different countries. The film was also officially selected for the 2018 Mediterranean Film Festival Cannes. These accolades are all the more astonishing because “The Goodbye Girl” was made for a total budget of less than £900. Congratulations again to director Aidey Pugh!
